Definitely better than the first Detective Barbie program, this mystery is set in a vacation hotel called the Inn at Lighthouse Cove. Girls search the 3D environs for clues to solve a case involving hidden jewelry, a thief and a cast of strange characters. Along the way they navigate a garden maze, hang glide, chase suspects on speedboats and more. Barbie is easier to control in this second adventure, and our testers say that this game is easier to play than the first. Still, it's possible to get stuck along the way and girls did get frustrated at times. Overall, though, this is a compelling game with fun graphics and sound effects.
