Fun:
Another year.. Another Tiger Woods golf game. Every iteration they do a little to mix up the game. Most of the times it is not worth buying every year. I try to skip a year or two inbetween before checking out the updates. This year it is turn for Tiger Woods golf. A few interesting tweaks to the true and tried formula of Golf. The new shot mechanism feels lot more satisfying. With the craze of personalized golf clubs... the game also allows you to tweak and tune your club. It is not like Gran Turismo level of tweak and tune. Just a baby step in that direction. Graphics are certainly improved. Animation, Physics, Audio are still very similar to PS2 version. Only textures are better. I seriously wish they once for all retire the old engine and use some new engine like Unreal or build it from ground up. It includes the usual array of mini-games. Online is organized nicely. Menu and presentation is very similar to Madden and other EA sports titles. Technically I haven't seen any bugs or hangs or crashes so far. If you have Tiger Woods 08, stick with it. Nothing new here.
