Where would we be without Batman? From movies, to toys, and (of course) video games--Batman is everywhere. Luckily this time around I'm glad he made the trip! "Batman-Rise is Sin Tzu" is the first game starring the Dark Knight that I've enjoyed in quite some time. The premise is simple...walk around and beat people up. No thought involved and no real tactics needed. If you can press the button...hey you can win. I miss all those early 90's "beat'em up" style games, which this game pays hommage to. The graphics are well done (obviosly in the dark deco style of the animated series) with superb animation. My one complaint is that all 4 characters can't play at the same time. Makes sense to me since the Gamecube has 4 controller ports, but what is obvious to some seems clueless to others. "Batman-Rise of Sin Tzu" is an overlooked and oft maligned gem. A simple game for simple fun. Ain't nothing wrong with that.
